Welcome!

Whether you are new to church, visiting in town, or just haven't been in a while, we'd love to see you.

We are an Open & Affirming church.

What to expect on Sunday morning...

  • All are Welcome Here

We value and welcome a diverse congregation. We believe all persons are created in God’s image and are loved, valued and blessed equally by God. We celebrate everyone including people of all ages, races, cultures, sexual orientation, gender identities and expressions, family configuration, economic circumstances, physical, cognitive or emotional abilities, education, or spiritual and religious traditions. We invite all persons to fully share and participate in leadership, ministry, fellowship, worship, sacraments, responsibilities, blessings and joys of our church family. (From our Mission Statement)

  • What does worship look like?

    • Our worship style is traditional. We sing a mix of hymns and contemporary songs.
    • The readings and prayers are projected on two screens and are also printed in a bulletin.
    • The service is about one hour. Sit anywhere! During "Passing of the Peace" you'll see people stand and greet each other with a "Good morning" and a hand shake. During "Prayers of the People" we share prayers out loud and then those prayers are included in a prayer by the pastor.
    • We celebrate Communion the first Sunday of every month. All are invited to the table.
    • We read the bible from the NRSV translation (New Revised Standard Version).
  • What do kids do on Sunday?

All children begin in the sanctuary sitting with their families for worship. A children's bulletin and colored pencils are available at the main sanctuary entrance. Kids age 0-12 are invited to the front for a lesson called "Time with Children." After the lesson, the teachers lead the kids to class. (Kids are welcome to stay in worship, too.) We also offer a designated staffed nursery for ages 0-3. The classroom and nursery are located in the hallway just outside of the sanctuary. Class ends at 10:45 AM. Parents pick-up their kids from the classroom. Learn more about Sunday School and Children's Ministries at St. Paul's.

  • We're glad you're here

Whether you feel comfortable in jeans and gym shoes or a suit or a dress, you're welcome here exactly as you are. Be comfortable. There is no dress code. Be yourself!

  • COffee and conversation

Plan to stay after worship for a spread of tasty treats and a cup of coffee - or two! Coffee is served right outside of the sanctuary. "Coffee Hour" is a weekly chance for the church community to say hi to both new and old friends.
