The Convergence Music Project

From the website: We like to use the phrase, “Just And Generous Worship Music” to describe who we are, and we are committed to providing beautiful new songs to deepen and serve the worship experiences of congregations and individuals who embrace a more inclusive and justice-focused way of following the path of Jesus.

Sing! Prayer and Praise

Sing! Prayer and Praise is an ecumenical resource for worship music that celebrates justice and peace, being multiracial/cultural, being open and affirming of all people, and extravagantly welcoming - and includes many of Christopher's songs! It's ideal for worship leaders, musicians, pastors, and your whole congregation.

CHRISTOPHER GRUNDY has become a leader in the movement to forge a new musical genre: progressive Christian worship music. The genre includes new, evocative images, emerging theologies, inclusive and expansive language, and musical styles that draw upon folk, alt rock, R&B, a cappella chant, and more.

For the last three decades Christopher has been writing and playing for national, regional, and local church events, as well as at colleges, coffee houses, and benefit concerts. In that time he has developed a particular kind of thoughtful, spiritual folk, adding a few other musical styles along the way. Christopher is ordained in the United Church of Christ and serves as Professor of Worship and Preaching and Associate Dean for the Chapel at Eden Theological Seminary.
